It looks like Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is not a big fan of Rob Perez's idea on where to hold the NBA's proposed mid-season tournament.

On Saturday, the Drew League attracted huge crowd and massive viewership. With that, Rob Perez–popularly known as WorldWideWob–sent an open letter to the NBA advising Adam Silver and co. to take a page out of the competition if they really want to push through their planned mid-season tournament.

According to WorldWideWob, it will benefit the NBA if they are going to hold the said mid-season competition in historic locations throughout the country.

However, it looks like Durant doesn't agree, responding to the tweet with just a meme of a man looking unsatisfied or confused.

Rob Perez's idea, to be fair, seems cool and could be an effective way to promote the planned mid-season tournament. But then again it is worth noting that the Drew League got a lot of traction online because of the appearance of LeBron James.

The Drew League is already popular, which is why James played in it in the first place and even put on a show. However, the fact of the matter is James catapulted that popularity to new heights. Considering that, Perez's proposal might be a bit flawed since the NBA has the stars to make any competition an attractive show–no matter where they hold it.

It's too early for Kevin Durant and the NBA to debate about what could be done for the mid-season tournament, though. The Board of Governors are still discussing the idea, and nothing is imminent until at least the 2023-24 season.
