LeBron James returns in the Drew League after 11 years, and the Los Angeles Lakers star made sure to put on a show in his first game back in the popular pro am competition.

Teaming up with DeMar DeRozan in Los Angeles for the tournament, James didn't waste any time and quickly entertained the huge crowd in attendance with a smooth fadeaway jumper for his first two points. It's what followed that got the crowd on their feet and even more excited, though, as the Lakers forward attacked the basket relentlessly and threw the ball down in every opportunity he gets.

Perhaps one of his best dunks was when he slammed the ball hard off a backboard alley-oop. The Lakers vet almost destroyed the hoop too, as it can be seen shaking after his dunk.

LeBron James last played in the Drew League in 2011, so imagine the joy of LA fans after hearing that he would be playing in the competition when it broke earlier in the day.

Lucky for them, the Lakers leader really showed up and didn't disappoint. He didn't go there just to run and got some work going. He came to play, and it showed as he displayed his full arsenal right from the get-go.

While some Lakers fans would probably hope that LeBron spends his time resting when he's not working out, perhaps it is his way to show everyone that he remains at top condition even at age 37. For the Purple and Gold faithful, seeing James not show any signs of slowing down is the best news they can get ahead of what they are hoping is a revenge season in 2022-23.
