The Brooklyn Nets are in a 0-2 hole against the Boston Celtics. While both games seemed completely winnable for the New York-based side, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving know they could've done more.

The Nets tandem largely struggled in Game 2. Kevin Durant finished with 27 points which is just shy of his season average. But he made just four shots all game on 17 attempts while scoring no field goals in the second half.

Kyrie Irving, meanwhile, largely cooled off after his scorching hot Game 1 where he dropped 39 points. The Nets point guard had just 10 points on a brutal 4-for-13 shooting clip from the field.

It's tough to keep either one of the Nets superstars down on any given night. But both of them is near impossible to do given that they're two of the most gifted scorers the NBA has ever seen.

But the Celtics were able to do it, limiting both stars in a way they haven't been stifled in their two seasons playing together as teammates in Brooklyn. Wednesday marked the first time that the two shot worse than 33% from the field in the same game together.

If there was any team capable of stopping them this season, it's the Boston Celtics. They've built their identity on their suffocating defense with Marcus Smart winning the DPOY award and Robert Williams being a prime candidate before he went out with injury.

But safe to say the series is far from over. Holding both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving back in one game is one thing. Doing it for the rest of the series, particularly in a pivotal Game 3, is going to be another challenge in of itself.
