Patty Mills’ true feeling on joining Kevin Durant, Nets
Mills is very popular with the Spurs organization and fanbase since his infectious enthusiasm and absolute team-first mentality are pretty much commended. His departure was surely felt by the whole organization.
However, Mills thinks it’s clearly time for him to move on as the Spurs and the guard’s timeline are very different as of now. The Spurs are clearly focusing on rebuilding while Patty wants to contend.

Mills is also very excited to play for the Nets since he will have a chance to play with one of the best players to ever lace it up in Kevin Durant. He also adds how big of a factor KD and the others were in persuading him to join the Nets.
