Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant is a man on a mission. A lot of NBA fans seemed to have forgotten about Durant's greatness after he missed action all of last year, but now that he's officially back, he's reminding everyone he's still one of the best in the league when it comes to buckets.

Durant dropped his third 30-point game on Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets. As he always does, he came up clutch to ultimately propel the Nets to the W with crucial baskets down the stretch. The four-time scoring champ recorded a game-high 34 points, nine rebounds and a season-high 13 assists.

After the game, rookie head coach Steve Nash had nothing left to say about his star forward.

With or without Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant is set on putting the Nets on his back and making a run for the playoffs. After missing three games due to the league's health and safety protocols, the former MVP erupted for a season-high 36 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder before tallying 34 on Tuesday. That's 70 points in two games, which is just a routine for the 32-year old scorer.

After playing 36 minutes against the Nuggets, Durant said he is planning to play his first back-to-back game for the Nets on Wednesday against the New York Knicks.

It is still unknown what the Nets' plan for Durant is in Wednesday's game, but given the way he is playing, it sure looks like he is ready for a heavier workload with Brooklyn.
