No, you aren't going crazy — the New York Jets have won consecutive games. Even though the team's last two wins have come against a pair of lowly NFC East franchises in the rival New York Giants last week and the Washington Redskins this time around, the Jets have indeed strung together back-to-back victories to improve to 3-7 on the season.

After the team's 1-7 start to the year, it appeared as though New York might not win more than that single game all season long. However, this up-and-coming franchise that houses more than a few rising stars has finally started to come around en route to providing at least some hope for the future.

With the Jets first beating the Giants by the score of 34-27 in Week 10, New York then defeated the Redskins, 34-17, on the road in Week 11. With the team's most recent win coming by way of a very well-rounded effort, a litany of Jets players stood out against the Redskins. However, three Jets players, in particular, stood out throughout the team's Week 11 victory over the one-win Redskins.

Sam Darnold, QB

The New York Jets originally selected former USC Trojans quarterback Sam Darnold with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Immediately becoming the team's quarterback of the future, some injury troubles paired with inconsistent play has led Darnold to encounter a slew of scrutinization and criticism. However, the up-and-coming signal-caller continues to silence the critics as of late while leading the Jets to back-to-back wins.

After beating the rival New York Giants and running back Saquon Barkley, who was infamously drafted one spot ahead of Darnold back in 2018, the Jets starter under center put on quite the performance in Week 11 against the Washington Redskins. Now while many will overlook this performance due to the fact that the Redskins aren't very good, it isn't easy competing at the NFL level generally speaking and regardless of the opponent.

Completing 19 of his 30 passing attempts en route to a 63.3 completing percentage and a 132.5 QBR against the Redskins, Sam Darnold also threw for 293 yards alongside four touchdowns and one interception.

Ryan Griffin, TE

Serving as quarterback Sam Darnold's most reliable target on Sunday afternoon against the Washington Redskins, New York Jets tight end Ryan Griffin stood out in a big way. With the Jets offense paving the way for a 34-point performance, Griffin hauled in five receptions for 109 yards and one touchdown. His long catch of the day came in at 45 yards while Griffin averaged 21.8 per reception against the Redskins.

Accumulating the most receiving yards for the Jets in Week 11, Ryan Griffin was tied for the most receptions and touchdowns with New York wide receiver Jamison Crowder, who also produced 76 receiving yards of his own.

Jamal Adams, DB

With the New York Jets offense stealing the majority of the praise against the Washington Redskins, there was one defensive player that took things to another level yet again. Jets safety Jamal Adams posted four tackles and a whopping three sacks en route to victory.

It's important to note that Jamal Adams recently stated that he can improve even more on a weekly basis after a big week against the New York Giants in Week 10. It is safe to say that Adams did just that against the Redskins.
