The 2020 NFL Draft is off and running. We have another selection in. The Washington Redskins have selected pass rusher Chase Young with the No. 2 overall pick.

Chase Young is an elite talent coming out of Ohio State. In fact, he is considered by many actually to be the best prospect in the entire draft.

For the last three seasons, Young has dominated in college. Nothing was better than 2019, though.

In his final year at Ohio State, Chase Young put up insane numbers. He racked up 46 tackles (21 for loss) and 16.5 sacks. He also managed three pass deflections and seven forced fumbles.

That type of production is rarely seen. It was better even than the Bosa brothers that came before him, and they were seen as some of the best prospects in a long time.

Chase Young should be able to enter the NFL and make an immediate impact. He's going to bolster the pass rush and make everyone more dangerous with the attention he's going to command.

What's scary isn't just that he should be productive right away, though. Not even how productive he'll be. It's that he possesses unlimited potential. Young is only going to get better and more lethal.

In the person of Chase Young, we're looking at a prospect that is a favorite to win Rookie of the Year but could be a Defensive Player of the Year in the immediate future as well.

Chase Young is going to rack up sacks and continuously make plays. There's a reason most scouting reports seem to leave the “weaknesses” category nearly blank for the 21-year-old.
