Antonio Brown has burned some bridges along the way in recent months and the misfortunes of his own doing continued on Monday. After spending months helping him, Brown's lawyer in the sexual assault case has filed to withdraw.

While it remains to be seen why the lawyer is stepping away, this could cause a hiccup in Brown's ongoing case. The troubled wideout will now have to find someone who is willing to deal with his case; making him spend even more money to clear his name.

Paying people to work for him isn't exactly one of Brown's strengths. Nearly a month ago, Brown was arrested for refusing to pay a moving-truck driver and vandalizing the truck.

Also, this isn't the first time that someone representing Antonio Brown has severed ties with him recently. Not too long ago, Drew Rosenhaus—Brown's longtime agent—chose to part ways with Brown due to his questionable behavior.

Over the past month, Brown has been trying to complete a redemption tour to make a comeback to the NFL. So far his attempts have been futile as not many people believe he is being genuine.

Since last September, there has been a case involving Antonio Brown and his former trainer, Britney Taylor. Taylor alleged that the free-agent wide receiver sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions.

As Taylor seeks to get justice, Brown is hoping to clear his name of any wrongdoing. Of course, Brown has been longing for a rapid verdict in hopes he can salvage his career in the NFL.

But with a curveball being thrown in the case, Brown is going to have to wait longer for his wish to come true. At this point, it doesn't appear that the case against Brown is going to be coming to an end any time soon.
