Now that Kyler Murray has made clear that he plans to switch careers from baseball to football, speculation about which team will draft him has arisen. For Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports 1, there are at least four teams he could think of who should strongly consider drafting the Oklahoma Sooners product.

According to the acclaimed NFL commentator, the Arizona Cardinals are the most likely to pick up Murray once he enters the draft. This is followed by the San Francisco 49ers, the New York Jets, and the Oakland Raiders round out the top four. Other teams that Cowherd believes are in contention for the newly-minted football player include the Giants, the Jaguars, the Lions, the Bills, and the Broncos.

However, according to NBC Sports, it's highly unlikely that the Giants will pick up Kyler Murray because he's “too small” for the team.

Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said as much when questioned about the prospect of recruiting Murray for the team.

“I fancy guys that are tall. … You’re trying to find sightlines. It’s no different for a quarterback when he is behind a very tall offensive line. All else being equal, as long as all the skill sets are equal or maybe even a little better than equal, guys that can see have a chance to be very good.”

While it's unclear as to whether the Giants still have that heigh restriction in place, it will be interesting to see if they still go with that height restriction or make an exception for Murray. If they ultimately do, then Kyler Murray will have to look elsewhere besides the Giants to kick off his NFL career.
