Since being cut by the Dallas Cowboys back in April, there has been little movement toward former Pro Bowl wide receiver Dez Bryant finding his next landing spot in the NFL.

With the offseason now heading toward training camp over the next few weeks, it has ramped up questions concerning when (and where) he will sign with another team. Bryant has no doubt in his mind that he will have a new home ahead of the 2018 campaign.

There is still plenty of time for Bryant to sign with a new team, but the clock is ticking with the preseason just over two months away. Teams have already gone through a significant portion of the offseason workouts where much of the groundwork of the offensive scheme is laid, which could put him behind the eight ball a bit in getting acclimated to a new organization.

The lack of movement on this front does create an interesting situation as teams are getting a better idea of what type of talents they have across the board on their rosters. This could present an opportune time for the 29-year-old to find a situation where he fits best at this point of his career. He still has plenty to offer as a proven wideout who can make a  huge impact in the passing game.

Bryant has seen his performance on the field dip over the last three seasons, failing to reach 1,000 receiving yards in each campaign. A change of scenery could help him get his career back on track.

Prior to that drop-off, he was one of the league's most productive wide receivers, recording at least 88 catches, 1,200 receiving yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns from 2012 to 2014. A lot could change on this front over the next few weeks, but it's clear that Bryant is more than confident that he will have a new team well ahead of the start of next season.
