The 2020 NFL Draft in Las Vegas is only a few months away and there are still players deciding to make their way into the NFL. On Tuesday, the league announced that 99 players were granted special eligibility for the 2020 NFL Draft, per Andrew Groover of NFL Network.

Every single season, it seems as if were are seeing more and more players declare for the NFL before they attend college for the traditional four years at college. When you consider that the players aren't paid in college, they are undoubtedly going to be intrigued by the idea of getting possibly millions of dollars as soon as possible.

Without a doubt, there are players that are ready to head into the NFL even as a freshman in college. However, there are going to be the players that would've been best staying at college for another season or two to refine their game.

Altogether, the ultimate factor that entices players to leave college for the NFL early is the idea of making a lucrative amount of money. The blame for leaving college early shouldn't be placed on the student-athletes who spent countless hours in their respective sport.

Furthermore, there are players that have rough upbringings that could use a steady income. Telling a 20-year-old player to turn down the possibility of making millions is tough to do.

On the other hand, the NCAA can't be upset at the notion of players leaving either. Until players are officially able to make money off of their likenesses, there is going to be a larger group that decides to forego their final years of college.
