With the 2022 NFL Draft completed, teams across the league are finalizing their rosters with last-minute free agent acquisitions. While each organization is busy with that, the league made its first official schedule announcement in Week 2. Apparently, we'll be witnessing the Tennessee Titans take on the Buffalo Bills while the Minnesota Vikings face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to Field Yates, we have ourselves a Monday Night Football doubleheader in Week 2 of the NFL season. Normally, doubleheaders take place on Week 1, so it's interesting to see it for Week 2. This is the first glimpse we've seen of the schedule for the 2022 season. The Titans, Bills, Vikings, and Eagles should put on quite the show.
The first Monday Night Football matchups have been announced in a Week 2 doubleheader:
7:15 PM ET: Titans at Bills on ESPN.
8:30 PM ET: Vikings at Eagles on ABC.

The Bills are arguably the best team in the NFL on paper, as Josh Allen looks to have another MVP-caliber season. However, the Titans won't go down without a fight, as they're defensively sound and ready to make some noise with Derrick Henry leading the way. This game should be spectacular, as the last time they played, Tennessee won with a last-second goal-line stand.
Meanwhile, the Vikings have made some big moves to improve the roster and could be a surprise playoff contender this season. The Eagles on the other hand have generated a unique team, as they aim to take over the NFC East. This matchup is intriguing, as we'll see two of the best young wide receivers in Justin Jefferson and AJ Brown face off in Week 2 of the NFL season.
Keep an eye out for the remainder of the schedule to be released on Thursday, May 12. There should be some more tidbits revealed throughout the week, but we'll know the full NFL schedule in the coming days.
