The New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in this Week 15 NFC East matchup. It's time to continue our NFL odds series with a Cowboys-Giants prediction and pick.

The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a close victory over the Washington Football Team. That game didn't see Dak Prescott at his best, which could be a concern going forward. The Cowboys started the season off on fire winning a bunch of games early. They are 9-4 on the year and should be a lock to win the NFC East after their win in Week 14. Another concern for the Cowboys is their second-half play. They went up 24-0 early in the game against Washington but allowed 2o points late in the game. If Dallas wants to contend and not be a one-hit-wonder in the playoffs, they must keep their foot on the gas pedal.

As for the Giants, they are coming off a blowout loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. They managed to find the end zone twice late in the fourth quarter which is a positive sign. The problem is now they are 4-9 on the season and are basically eliminated from playoff contention. Daniel Jones remains out for the Giants but he could return this week or in the near future. This team needs to focus on finishing the season strong to give them some momentum for 2022.

Here is how FanDuel set the Cowboys-Giants odds for Week 15.

Dallas Cowboys: -10.5 (-110)

New York Giants: +10.5 (-110)

Why The Cowboys Could Cover The Spread

The last time the Cowboys met the Giants they won 44-20 at home. Dallas contains the 2nd ranked offense in the NFL. They light up the field just about every game. Defensively, they contain two very elite and young defenders in Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs. Both of them are in contention for Defensive Player of the Year. Parsons as a rookie is the favorite to win the award as he is playing extremely well right now. He's doing it all and it's helping the Cowboys win games.

If the Cowboys are to cover this spread, then they will need to stop Giants RB Saquon Barkley. That is really the only player to watch for and can hurt the Cowboys. Impressively, Dallas is 10-3 against the spread this year. This should be an easy one as well as the Giants aren't competing right now. Although, anything can happen in this rivalry.

Why The Giants Could Cover The Spread

This is going to be a hard game for the Giants to cover. They are coming off a bad loss to the Chargers and it doesn't seem like they can get it together at this point in the season with Daniel Jones set to miss another week. The Giants are 6-7 against the spread this year. They will be without a bunch of crucial defenders as well so it's likely the Cowboys continue to run up the score on them. Offensively for the Giants, Barkley is going to need to have a good game if they want to have a chance. He's hurt the Cowboys in the past, so he is capable of doing so again. This is going to be a difficult game for the Giants to cover if he doesn't find success.

Final Cowboys-Giants Prediction & Pick

I'm taking the Cowboys to cover the spread and essentially lock up the NFC East division. With Jones at QB or not, The Giants don't have the star power to beat this elite Cowboys team. The Cowboys put up 40 on the Giants last time they played, so the over/under at 44.5 should be an easy hit. I would consider the over at 44.5 as well.

Final Cowboys-Giants Prediction & Pick: Cowboys -10.5 (-110)
