Lots of words could be used to describe the late game officiating of the Baltimore Raven's 12-9 loss to the Cleveland Browns, but Joe Flacco chose to call it “bogus” in a postgame interview. Officials chose to call a block in the back on Ravens wide receiver Chris Moore during a potential game-winning drive. The penalty wiped out a 17-yard run by Alex Collins. Had it not been called, the Ravens had a good shot at winning the game. The ball would have been on the Browns' 36-yard-line. Needless to say, Flacco was not a fan.

“We won the game there — as far as I’m concerned — at the end of the game and they called a block in the back on Chris, when the guy is out of position and gets cut back on,” Flacco told the Baltimore Sun. “It was kind of bogus I thought, but what are you going to do?”

The Browns won their first game with Baker Mayfield as their starter. This crucial overtime penalty eventually allowed the Browns to boot a knuckleball through the uprights to win the game. It wasn't pretty, but it got the job done.

Joe Flacco and the Ravens entered Week 5 coming off an impressive win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, Flacco was unable to throw a touchdown pass against the Browns. The Ravens fell to 3-2, and the NFC North keeps getting more interesting. Getting a win against the Tennessee Titans in Week 6 will stop them from falling by the wayside.
