Through the first fives games of the season, the Cleveland Browns are seeing things once again quickly head south for another disappointing campaign.
Much of this has become centered around the quarterback play with rookie DeShone Kizer struggling to lead the offense to any consistent success. According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, head coach Hue Jackson stating following the Week 5 loss to the New York Jets that the team will watch the film before deciding on the starting quarterback situation.

Hogan was also intercepted by Morris Claiborne to set up the first Jets touchdown of the day before finishing 16-of-19 for 194 yards.
Kizer has had difficulty showing that he can be the long-term answer under center for the Browns through his first few starts of the season. The coaching staff has pulled him from the game in the last two games in favor of backup Kevin Hogan, who had a respectable performance with a pair of touchdown passes with 194 yards on 16 of 19 completed passes in the loss to the Jets.
The Browns had given Kizer the reigns as the starter prior to the start of the regular season. However, the lack of development and progression over that stretch from him, while they are one of the two last remaining winless teams in the league, has pushed Jackson to this point.
Ultimately, the fact that Cleveland is headed toward another disappointing season may lead to them keep their rookie quarterback under center for the time being.
