The Buffalo Bills will want to show that they are a legitimate contender by beating the New England Patriots in Week 4. If they hope to pull off the upset, they are going to need Josh Allen to perform at an elite level on Sunday.

Unexpectedly, Buffalo is one of the seven remaining undefeated teams in the NFL this season. At the same time, the Patriots are right there with them with three consecutive wins to begin the year.

The Bills have shown vast improvements on both sides of the ball, but the play of Allen has noticeably been better under center. In Allen's rookie campaign, the Wyoming product threw for just 2,074 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.

But in the three games, he has played in this season, Allen has shown that he spent endless hours working on his game. As a result, the young gunslinger has thrown for 750 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions.

This week, he will have his toughest test of the season against an elite Bill Belichick defense. With that being said, here are three bold predictions for Allen in Week 4 against the Patriots.

3. Allen Will Throw for 300 Yards

The Patriots defense hasn't surrendered many passing yards to quarterbacks this season, but that will change on Sunday. In their three games this season, New England has allowed a total of 487 passing yards (least in the NFL).

On the other hand, the personal single-game high for Allen in passing yards in his career is 254 yards in Week 1 of this season. However, the second-year quarterback will have a career-high 300 yards through the air in Week 4.

With John Brown and Cole Beasley, the Bills can take shots down the field in 2019. To beat New England, Allen is going to have to beat them with his arm.

2. Allen Will Score Four Total Touchdowns

Allen is known to be one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the NFL, and he has shown that in the first three games of the season. Along with his passing numbers, the Bills signal-caller has 105 yards and two scores with his legs.

In light of that, Allen can score in a multitude of ways on Sunday against the Patriots even though New England's defense hasn't surrendered an offensive touchdown since last year's AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Albeit, Allen will score four total touchdowns in the Bills Week 4 clash with the Patriots. The Bills may not win the game, but the young quarterback isn't going to go down without a fight.

1. Allen Will Rush for 75 Yards

As talented as Allen is at running the ball, he has only had two games where he has exceeded 100 yards on the ground. Additionally, the mobile quarterback only has four games with more than 75 yards rushing.

All four of those games came last season, and none of them came against the Patriots. When Allen faced New England in 2018, Belichick's crew allowed him to rush for just 30 yards.

After having some time to study New England's defense, Allen will rush for 75 yards on Sunday. Extending plays and creating magic with his legs could lead the Bills to major upset of the undefeated Patriots in Week 4.
