The Buffalo Bills lost a key part of their high-powered offense when they released veteran wideout Cole Beasley. As such, the Bills had to prioritize the wide receiver spot to make up for the loss. It didn't take the Bills long to find a Beasley replacement, as they agreed to terms with this veteran free agent wide receiver on Monday, as reported by ESPN's Josina Anderson.

As reported by Anderson, the Bills have agreed to terms with former New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder on a one-year deal worth $4 million. Buffalo is familiar with Crowder, having faced him twice a year for each of the last three seasons.

Crowder is a worthy replacement in the slot for Beasley, who emerged as a dependable Josh Allen target, accumulating over 100 targets in each of the three seasons he spent in Buffalo.

Crowder is no slouch himself, as he showed what he can do with a larger role in an offense back in 2019 with the Jets, turning 122 targets into 78 catches for 833 yards and six scores.

The veteran wideout also provides a quieter presence in the locker room, as Beasley was more of an outspoken personality.

Ultimately, Crowder is just one more weapon that defenses will have to zero in on against Allen and the Bill's passing attack. It's a smart move by Buffalo's front office.
