The Buffalo Bills were hoping to have some depth on the offensive line but some unforeseen circumstances have left them shorthanded so they have signed guard Nico Siragusa.

Guard Isaac Asiata retired earlier this week and they also released offensive lineman Jeremiah Sirles on injured reserve before releasing him with an injury settlement. Spencer Long is currently sidelined with a knee injury and center Mitch Morse is in the concussion protocol. All that has led to the Bills being short bodies and has forced the team to make a move.
Siragusa was a fourth-round pick by the Ravens but injuries have cost him a chance to prove he belongs in the league. In 2017 he went down with a season-ending knee injury during training camp and spent the entire year on injured reserve.
He spent most of the 2018 season on the Ravens practice squad before being signed to the Green Bay Packers active roster, but he never appeared in a game. He was released by the Packers in April and was quickly picked up by the Indianapolis Colts. He was on their roster until the eve of training camp when he was released and was a free agent until he was picked up by the Bills.
It's unclear if this is just a training camp signing or if he actually has a chance to make the roster but now is his chance to impress the coaches.
Siragusa is originally from San Diego and played his college ball with the San Diego State Aztecs.
