Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is coming off a bit of a breakout year after leading the team to the AFC Wild Card. Now, his emergence as a potential franchise cornerstone has helped him crack the NFL Network's Top 100 list.

The rankings are voted on by players and coaches every year. Allen's efforts were enough to make his debut on the list at No. 87.

Josh Allen initially struggled to fit the billing as a former No. 7 overall pick to start his career. Although expectations were always high due to the fact that the Bills opted to trade up for him, he was finally able to show signs of his potential as a bonafide franchise quarterback last season.

While his passing numbers may not have been eye-popping, Allen was able to come through when the Bills needed him most, tying for the most fourth quarter comebacks (4). He also joined New England Patriots QB Cam Newton and Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson as the only quarterbacks to rush for more than 500 yards in their first two seasons while leading all passers with nine rushing touchdowns during the 2019 campaign.

Allen's skill set as a dual-threat under center gives Buffalo plenty of flexibility when it comes to their approach on offense. Regardless, the Bills have made efforts to utilize arguably the strongest arm in the league with the acquisition of wide receiver Stefon Diggs this offseason. There is no telling where Josh might rank when the ballots are cast next year if he can improve on his decision-making and accuracy.
