The Buffalo Bills are hoping for an improved sophomore season from their hopeful franchise quarterback in Josh Allen. Allen is a gunslinger who has all of the arm talent in the world—just like the quarterback he loved watching growing up.
In an article for ESPN, the Bills quarterback said he looked up to Brett Favre while he was growing up.

He was playing the 49ers. It was fourth down. Fourteen seconds left. He's with the Vikings at this point. When he switched to the Vikings, I couldn't stand him. Don't know why. It just broke my heart that he left Green Bay and I didn't understand the full grasp of what was going on.
But when he came to San Francisco and threw a 35-yard strike on a line to the back of the end zone to beat the 49ers with like 10 seconds left, it broke my heart because I was a 49er fan growing up.”
Allen's idol is ironic considering the young quarterback is considered to have one of the strongest arms in the NFL right now. Although, Allen has to improve his accuracy and decision making to take the next step as a signal caller.
The Bills young quarterback has a cannon for an arm and can throw it 75-yards with ease. As could Favre, who was also known to have one of the strongest arms in NFL history.
Allen may not be Favre but the Bills quarterback can only hope to have the longevity of the Packers legend. Nonetheless, it's funny how you can grow up watching certain athletes during your childhood. Then, model your game after them as Allen has with Favre.
