The Buffalo Bills have been one of the NFL's more underwhelming teams this season, as the Bills have dropped three of their last seven games, and currently hold a 7-5 record—still good for second in the AFC East. The Bills' current situation was exacerbated by Monday's 10-14 loss to the New England Patriots, who currently sit on top of the AFC East with a 9-4 record. Regarding the Bills' woes, quarterback Josh Allen reassured fans that the team is as sharp and as dangerous as ever. This was elaborated on by Sal Maiorana of the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle:
“I think there obviously is a sense of urgency of what we need to do. But there’s no panic in our locker room. We’re extremely united right now with what we need to do. We’ve had a couple of really good days of practice and walkthroughs and we’re looking forward to going out there and getting a chance to play against the defending world champs and arguably one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.”
Evidently, Allen holds Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in high regard, and if Allen is to be believed, the Bills are primed and ready for the showdown. To add to this, the team is eager to showcase just how capable they are, as the boys from Buffalo are apparently hungry to prove their own capabilities to themselves.

“We want to go out there and prove what type of team we are, not to you guys or anybody else, but to ourselves because we know the type of guys that we have in this locker room and the team that we can be.”
Despite this, it is important to note that the Bills have struggled against teams with a record better than .500 for the season, winning only one game so far against teams who match the criteria. The Buccaneers currently sit on top of the NFC South, with a 9-3 record.
