The Buffalo Bills are off to a bit of a slow start out of the gate to the 2018 season with much of their issues stemming from the lack consistent play offensively.
It has seen the Bills make a quarterback change to rookie Josh Allen, but that hasn't translated to much emphasis on throwing the ball. Veteran wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin has voiced some of his frustration with his lack of involvement in the offensive game plan in the passing game, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN.

We all know the last 13 games, a dude could go crazy each game. I'm just working, man. Just getting better. Feeling good. We gonna keep grinding and keep building this relationship with Josh [Allen].”
A sizeable chunk of these issues have stemmed from the team's struggles with their wide receivers dropping balls, which Benjamin has been a part of in the times the team has thrown the ball with a league-worst 11.1 drops-per-target rate that seen them also hold the fewest catches for their wideouts (21), and fourth lowest receiving yards total (250) through the first three weeks of the season.
This hasn't given the Bills much confidence in their wide receiver core that has only emphasized with the team's issues to move the ball offensively. Benjamin was supposed to step in as their clear-cut No. 1 receiving option but he has just six receptions and 58 receiving yards this season. These comments from him are quite intriguing has he had many complaints about quarterback Cam Newton throwing balls that didn't help him progress as a wide receiver prior to this season.
Ultimately, the Bills will at some point give Allen more of the reins to pass the ball with a greater frequency in order to see if Benjamin is a building block of the team for the long haul.
