There's been a lot of discussions over the possibility of bringing in outside talent into the league as far as the kicking game is concerned. In fact, USWNT star and two-time World Cup champion, Carli Lloyd, is seriously considering to possibility of kicking for an NFL team — and in doing so, becoming the first woman to play in the NFL.

This very notion and statement by Lloyd drew the ire of many fans that aren't in favor of someone with little football experience. But some players in the league are willing to assist the two-time FIFA Player of the Year. Most notably, a fellow kicker in Buffalo's Stephen Hauschka.

He's willing and able to help the soccer star with her path to the NFL “if it's something she really wants to do.” Hauschka supports the decision and he hopes “she goes for it.”

Hauschka is entering his 12th year in the NFL and his third with the Bills. He famously helped the Seattle Seahawks win the Super Bowl back in 2014.

He ends the statement by saying, “I do think it's possible to kick well in this league as a female.” Which is true when looking at Lloyd's 55-yard field goal she made at a recent Philadelphia Eagles practice.

However, there are many doubters that believe that she shouldn't be making this move. But players both past and present are in support of Lloyd's leap of faith to play in the NFL. Guys like Hauschka and Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner believes that she should be given a shot.
