Per the Charlotte Observer, Carolina Panthers fullback Alex Armah had to stop a man from breaking into his vehicle last week. Reportedly, Armah used an āarmā wrestling technique to stop a person from entering his vehicle without his consent.
The incident occurredĀ on Feb. 6 right outside his apartment complex in Charlotte. According to the CharlotteĀ Police Department's report, 32-year-old Daniel Cagle was arrested. The charge was on attemptingĀ to break in or to enter a motor vehicle. It's unclear whether or not he was released on bail.
Armah had put in his car a dashboard camera via a company called āOWL.ā The surveillanceĀ warns Armah when somebody is near or in the car via his cellular phone. On the day of the incident, Armah was in the middle of a workout session. He was interruptedĀ by his phone, notifying him of the intruder.

āIt alerts me when thereās any type of movement or motion around my vehicle. I got an alert on my phone, and it shows you a preview of what is going on. And it tells you āevent in process.ā When I looked at it, there was a still frame of someone in my vehicle, going through my stuff.ā
Amrah is a second-year NFL veteran. His rookie year, he didn't play at all. But lastĀ season for the Panthers Armah had nine total rushing attempts for 15 yards. He ran in two total touchdowns. Armah also had one reception for five total yards.
