Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had a relatively quiet game against the Kansas City Chiefs during the AFC Championship. That did not stop him from roasting the Chiefs after their 27-24 overtime win.

He caught six passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. Most of that production came after halftime. The Bengals struggled to get Chase the ball early, as he only pulled down two catches for eight yards in the first half. That's part of the reason Cincinnati fell behind. They trailed 21-3 midway through the second quarter.
Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins came to life in the second half. Burrow tossed a couple of touchdowns. As the third quarter wound down, Burrow found Chase for a two-yard touchdown pass. The Bengals then tied the game on a two-point conversion.

Chase roasted the Chiefs earlier this season in Week 17. In that game, he finished with 266 receiving yards. Kansas City clearly game planned to limit his production Sunday. Higgins stepped up, with 103 receiving yards.
It was a total team victory for Cincinnati. Joe Burrow became the first #1 draft pick to lead his team to the Super Bowl in his first two seasons in the Super Bowl era. Evan McPherson joined Adam Vinatieri as the only kickers to make four or more kicks in three separate games in the same postseason.
Cincinnati is headed back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 1988-1989 season.
