The Cleveland Browns face the Seattle Seahawks Sunday in what will be a marquee matchup. However, Browns' optimism that their two cornerbacks, Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams will play is now shut down.

Per Josina Anderson, both Browns cornerbacks are likely out for today's matchup.

For a team that's trying to right the ship, news like this is devastating. The Browns came into this season with massive hype, featuring talented players on both sides of the ball primed to take them to Super Bowl contention. But a dismal start to the season (2-3) isn't helping their case. Both sides of the ball have struggled with consistency this season and to get back on track, they need their key players healthy.

But the true hurt the Browns may feel could center that they don't have their defensive playmakers against arguably the NFL's top quarterback in Russell Wilson. Wilson is in peak form thus far, throwing for 1409 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. Without all hands on deck on defense, it's going to be interesting how the Browns scheme to stop Wilson's prowess without Williams and Ward.

Or, they can rest their laurels on their own potentially potent offensive attack. Quarterback Baker Mayfield has the wide receivers around him in Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry to make the game a shootout. But as aforementioned, the offense has shown signs of inconsistency this season.

Whatever the Browns do, they must come up with a plan that will get the Browns on the right track against the Seahawks today. But without Williams and Ward, it will be a tough order to follow.
