Since Baker Mayfield was drafted by the Cleveland Browns he has been drawing comparisons to Brett Favre and former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson sees it. Mayfield and Favre are both around the same height and both guys are known as gunslingers.

On Good Morning Football Nate Burleson put together some clips to show how Mayfield and Favre compare to each other. Most of the videos focused on the gunslinger type of style the two are known for but there is one key piece that Burleson points out.

On the tape, it's clear that both guys like to take risks, but Burleson points out that Mayfield seems to be a little more calculated than Favre with his passes which leads to fewer mistakes.

Burleson isn't the only guy to think Mayfield and Favre have a lot of in common, his new teammate Odell Beckham Jr. also sees it and talked about it in a recent GQ article.

“[Mayfield is] Brett Favre—he's going to be a Hall of Famer. I plan on being there for the next five years and trying to bring as many championships there as possible – turning [the Browns] into the new Patriots.”

The more the talk about Mayfield being like Favre the more the pressure is going to be on Mayfield but that isn't something he has ever shied away from. If Mayfield can even get close to the type of success that Favre had on the field, Browns fans are going to be very happy for a long time.
