The Cleveland Browns may have landed running back Kareem Hunt this week, but they did it with the understanding that Hunt might miss some games next season due to a likely suspension.
And for Hunt, well, let's just say whatever suspension he receives will be costly.
According to Field Yates of ESPN, Hunt will lose $37,941 in base salary for each game he is suspended, along with a $25,000 per game roster bonus. That means that Hunt will be losing over $60,000 per game for each game he is banned.
Hunt, who played the first two seasons of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, was released by the Chiefs this past year after a video was released of him assaulting a woman in a Cleveland hotel last February.
The 23-year-old was placed on the commissioner's exempt list, where he still remains today.

Hunt, who played his collegiate football at the University of Toledo, was originally selected by Kansas City in the third round (86th pick overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft.
He played in all 16 game during his rookie campaign, racking up 1,327 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 4.9 yards per carry. In addition, he hauled in 53 receptions for 455 yards and three scores en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.
Prior to being released by the Chiefs this past season, Hunt had rushed for 824 yards while reaching the end zone seven times, catching 26 passes for 378 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Browns are coming off of a 2018 campaign in which they went 7-8-1, marking their best finish since they won 10 games all the way back in 2007.
