The Cleveland Browns have dealt with countless absences this season and that trend has continued. Four players on the roster have tested positive for COVID-19 and three of them are running backs, including Nick Chubb. Via Tom Pelissero:
Four #Browns players have now tested positive for COVID-19 in the past couple days, including three running backs: Nick Chubb, Demetric Felton and John Kelly.
The only healthy RB currently on the active roster is D’Ernest Johnson.

As noted, D'Ernest Johnson is the only healthy Browns RB right now. Kareem Hunt is still on the IR with a calf injury as well. Chubb has been Cleveland's leading catalyst in the backfield this season, rushing for an impressive 721 yards, which is third in the NFL. Demetric Felton meanwhile hasn't played a ton but when on the field, he's showed well.
Article Continues BelowIt's important to note that Chubb and Felton are both vaccinated, but their status for Week 10 is definitely uncertain at the moment. That being said, Johnson will quite literally be getting all the snaps on Sunday. The 25-year-old has really impressed though collecting 195 yards on 37 carries for an average of 5.3 yards.
The Browns are coming off a dominant 41-16 win over Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9, where Chubb showed out for 137 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Johnson will definitely have his hands full this Sunday though against a Patriots team that is quite solid defensively, especially against the run. Hopefully, Chubb and Felton in particular won't be out long.
