Cleveland Browns running back Odell Beckham Jr. is the toast of Cleveland after his impressive outing against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. However, he's crying foul over the referees taking him off the field for wearing tinted visors.

He said in an interview with Cleveland.com's Marry Kay Cabot that he found it odd that the referees at MetLife Stadium singled him out while there are plenty of NFL players who play with tinted visors as well.

“I mean, just open your eyes a little bit,’’ he said. “There’s people across the league with tinted visors, black visors and it’s me on Monday night in New York and ‘la la la, pull him off the field.’ It is what it is. I’m just upset because I hurt my team and I didn’t get a chance to make a play down there, free somebody up to get open and we ended up kicking a field goal and that could be the difference in the game.”

However, that doesn't take away from the incredible game OBJ enjoyed against the Jets. The highlight of his Week 2 performance was his third-quarter TD where he got away from defenders to  score an 89-yard TD.

He also said after the game that he's never felt better mentally. In fact, that was manifested when Beckham apologized to Baker Mayfield for causing an interception with a pass he bobbled.

“When we got on the plane, I remember telling him on the interception, that’s my fault,’’ he said this week. “That (expletive) will never happen again. I mean, that will never happen again.”

If this continues and his improved attitude carries on throughout the season, it wouldn't be foolish to expect an All-Pro performance from Beckham in 2019.
