After years of ineptitude, things are suddenly beginning to go right for the Cleveland Browns.

One of the many bright spots for the Browns this year has been the play of rookie running back Nick Chubb, who, according to Pro Football Focus, has been a top five running back in the league this season.

Chubb has certainly been impressive.

Through 14 games, Chubb has rushed for 860 yards and eight touchdowns while averaging 5.2 yards per carry. In addition, he has hauled in 16 receptions for 150 yards and a couple of scores.

The 22-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Georgia, was selected by Cleveland in the second round (35th pick overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.

This draft class is turning out to be quite a coup for the Browns, as they also landed quarterback Baker Mayfield and cornerback Denzel Ward in the first round.

After their eye-opening win over the Denver Broncos this past Saturday, the Browns are now 6-7-1 on the year and are actually in playoff contention in the AFC. When was the last time we said that?

Cleveland's turnaround began after it fired head coach Hue Jackson and replaced him with Gregg Williams, who has led the team to a 4-2 record since he took over.

Of course, quite a few things need to break the Browns' way for them to actually get into the playoffs, but the mere fact that a postseason berth is actually a discussion in Cleveland is a miracle in itself.

The Browns will play host to the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday.
