In walking into the end zone untouched, the former second round draft pick collected not only his first score since his removal from the injured reserve list, but the first touchdown in the game for either team. Having missed the previous four matches with a knee injury, Chubb's performance Sunday is likely to remove any doubt as to whether the halfback will endure lingering effects from his ailment.
With Cleveland having led the league in rushing prior to his absence, the past month has seen the Browns drop to the bottom-third in the NFL in the running category. With Kareem Hunt having failed to shoulder the load in Chubb's absence, despite his reputation, the explosiveness the back has displayed thus far is sure to calm several nerves in Cleveland.
The Browns continue to lead midway through the fourth quarter.
