Through his first several years in the league, Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith has established himself as one of the premier players at his position. He has been a cornerstone on the offensive line for Dallas as the anchor of the entire unit.

However, Smith is coming off a season where he dealt with many nagging injuries relating his back that limited the amount of playing time he had on the field missing three total games. According to Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com, the 27-year-old has voiced that his body is feeling great at this point in the offseason.

This is certainly encouraging news for the Cowboys given that Smith has played a key role in bringing much stability along the offensive line. He is an elite talent as arguably the best left tackle in the league that has earned five Pro Bowl selections, two First-Team All-Pro nods and two Second-Team All-Pro selections.

Smith has played a crucial role in protecting quarterback Dak Prescott's blindside that has allowed to continue to develop into a promising player under center. The stability that the USC product has provided will be key in giving Prescott an opportunity to further his growth on the field next season and beyond.

The Cowboys have added a few more pieces to the puzzle this offseason that should help their effort in bouncing back in 2018 season to potentially push toward being a playoff contender.  The fact that Smith is feeling physical great could be a telling sign of things to come in Dallas.
