With the recent struggles of the Dallas Cowboys, there have been murmurs that head coach Jason Garrett's job is in jeopardy. On the contrary, Cowboys' COO Stephen Jones is “confident” in Garrett despite the “bumps” this season.

“We're not into those,” Jones said when asked about making a move during the season. “We've done one, but not a fan of them.”

“But that doesn't even pertain to this,” Jones continued. “We think Jason's doing a great job with our team. We've hit a few bumps here, but we're very confident Jason can do a great job with the team this year.”

After the first three weeks of the season, it was all smiles in Dallas as they were 3-0, outscoring their opponents 97-44. There was nothing but optimism for the Cowboys as they appeared to be a completely different team from previous seasons.

Then, their smiles quickly faded away over the next three weeks of the season. Following their undefeated start, the Cowboys have lost their past three games by a combined score of 70-56.

The seat was getting hotter for Garrett during the losses but it was scorching after the Cowboys lost to the winless New York Jets in Week 6. Luckily for him, the front office seems to be confident in him for the remainder of the season.

However, if Dallas continues to lose football games, there could be a change of heart from the front office. Additionally, with Garrett in a contract year, the rumors of him losing his job aren't going away anytime soon.
