Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott isn't expected to practice much on Thursday as the team gets ready for their must-win game against the Washington Redskins. Prescott was listed a non-participant on Wednesday, and Jason Garrett said the practice plan would probably be similar to the one they followed last week.

“You know it’ll probably be pretty similar to what he’s done,” Garrett said Thursday via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. “Was involved in the walk-through this morning and probably will be limited in practice if he does anything at all.”

Prescott injured his shoulder during Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams, and he hasn't been the same since suffering it. Against the Philadelphia Eagles, he was able to play all the snaps, but at times it looked like the shoulder was bothering him. He finished the game throwing for 265 yards, but he didn't throw any touchdowns.

Garrett tried to downplay Prescott's injury again saying the team was doing everything in their power to manage it right so he can play against the Redskins.

“Yeah, you know you deal with injuries all the time, and you do your best to get guys prepared and ready to go,” Garrett said. “We have a number of injuries on our team that we manage throughout the week to get them to play their best football on Sunday, so that’s just the nature of the deal, and you try your best to make your best decisions as a training staff, coaching staff and with the player’s input so we’ll just it handle it that way today.”

If Prescott isn't able to go it will be Cooper Rush who will get the start. Rush has only thrown three passes during his career, completing two of them.
