The Dallas Cowboys have been up and down this season and are coming off a disappointing loss against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night football. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has heard all the talk surrounding the team, but he isn't too concerned because he knows the team is going to “peak” at the right time.

“No concerns,” Prescott said, via Pro Football Talk. “No concerns. This team, these players, the character of these men . . . I have no doubt that it’s going to go the right way.”

After starting the season 3-0, the Cowboys have lost four of their last six games. They are currently tied for the top spot in the NFC East but at this point, it looks like only one team from the division might make it, so every game is important.

Linebacker Leighton Vander Esch knows it's important the team is more consistent if they want to reach their goals this season.

“Just being consistent, just be more consistent,” linebacker Leighton Vander Esch said via the Cowboys team website. “Doing our job every single snap, staying in our gaps, not trying to do someone else’s job. I think it just boils down to that.

“It’s that simple: just doing your job, doing it to the best of your ability and just being a ball player, going and making plays. You’ve got to have each other’s backs.”

The Cowboys next two games are on the road against the Detroit Lions and New England Patriots. Winning both games would put them in a very good position for the playoffs.
