In the past few days, the Dallas Cowboys have picked up their activity level in free agency by adding a few proven pieces to the puzzle. A bulk of this effort by the front office has been toward reshaping the roster on the offensive side of the ball.
This has led to them filling areas of need through the free agent market despite the available crop continuing to dwindle down. According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Cowboys have decided to add more stability along the offensive line by signing former New England Patriots offensive tackle Cameron Fleming to a deal.

The 25-year-old spent his first four years in the league with the Patriots after being selected in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He had worked his way into being a starter on the right side of the offensive line over the second half of this past season after Marcus Cannon suffered an injury. In total, he played 12 games with six starts in along with a pair of starts in the Patriots' three playoff games in the 2017 campaign.

This signing by the Cowboys comes just shortly after the team was able to agree to a contract restructure with Pro Bowl tight end Jason Witten that created nearly $3.5 million in salary cap space. Pro Bowl center Travis Frederick had also reworked his deal with the team that generated almost $7 million in cap room to help give the team flexibility to bring aboard more talent.
Fleming's addition will bring some much-needed depth on the offensive line that was lacking last season. The Cowboys has struggled up front last year when All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith was out of the lineup due to injury.
