Like many other quarterbacks in the NFC, Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott has no issue at all with not being selected to the 2022 Pro Bowl, as he has bigger goals in mind.

Earlier this week, the NFL released the final roster for this season’s Pro Bowl. On the NFC side, quarterbacks Kyler Murray, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers were all selected to represent the conference. Of course, there was plenty of outside criticism over these three NFC passers being voted to the Pro Bowl, especially as the likes of Prescott and Matthew Stafford have had promising campaigns of their own as well.

For Prescott, it did not bother him when he found out that he was not picked to be among the three quarterbacks to represent the NFC in the Pro Bowl, as he instead aspires to play in a much more important game in the following week.

“I’m win first with the team and all that stuff comes, so not necessarily,” Prescott said during a press conference on Thursday. “Yeah, sure it’d be great obviously but in the same sense I want to play in the Super Bowl and not that game, so just look at the bigger goal.”

The Cowboys already checked off one notable feat in this checklist, as they officially clinched a playoff spot following the Tennessee Titans' home win over the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday. Prescott and company could lock up the NFC East with a win against the Washington Football Team this week.

Prescott comes into Week 16 with 3,598 passing yards and 25 touchdown passes on the year. The sixth-year quarterback needs only one more victory this season to secure the third double-digit wins campaign of his career with the Cowboys.
