Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has already stamped his name among the best rushers in the league, and during Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Elliott became just the eighth player in NFL history to rush for 4,000 yards in 40 games.

Elliott totaled 85 yards on the ground during the victory.
Overall this season, Elliott has rushed for 1,434 yards to lead the NFL. He has also scored six touchdowns and is averaging an impressive 4.7 yards per carry. On top of that, he has hauled in 77 receptions for 567 yards and three scores.
Elliott, who played his collegiate football at Ohio State University, was originally selected by the Cowboys with the fourth overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft.
He burst on to the scene during his rookie campaign, racking up a league-best 1,631 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns, recording 5.1 yards per attempt. He also caught 32 passes for 363 yards while reaching the end zone once.
Last season, due to a six-game suspension, Elliott was limited to just 10 games, but he still managed to total 983 yards and seven touchdowns while snaring 26 balls for 269 yards and a pair of scores.
The 23-year-old has put together seven 100-yard rushing performances this season.
With the win over the Buccaneers, the Cowboys improved to 9-6 and clinched the NFC East division title, marking their third division crown over the last five years.
Last season, Dallas had a disappointing 9-7 campaign and missed the playoffs, but two years ago, the Cowboys won 13 games and won the NFC East before losing to the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round of the postseason.
