Generally, the shelf lives of Dallas Cowboys head coaches are short-lived.
Jason Garrett has kind of bucked that trend lately, as he has been at the helm for the Cowboys ever since the midway point of the 2010 campaign. However, Garrett will be entering 2019 in the final year of his deal, so, naturally, there will probably be some speculation that he could lose his job at the end of the year if Dallas doesn't progress.
But, Garrett himself doesn't seem too worried about it, telling reporters that he doesn't “really have any feelings on that,” according to Jori Epstein of USA TODAY Sports.
Since taking the reins as Cowboys coach, Garrett has gone 77-59 with three playoff appearances and three NFC East division titles. However, he has logged just two playoff wins.
This past season, Dallas won 10 games and captured its third NFC East division crown in the past five years, rebounding from a 3-5 start by going 7-1 over its final eight contests.

Dallas then went on to lose to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round the following week.
The Cowboys have posted just one losing season under Garrett, going 4-12 in 2015. Otherwise, Dallas has at least been .500 in every one of his other seasons on the sideline, including a stretch where Dallas went 8-8 in three straight years from 2011 through 2013.
Garrett's best season came in 2016, when the Cowboys won 13 games.
