The Dallas Cowboys have seen their offensive line being impacted with injuries to their starters over the last several days that have put their status up in the air for the season opener.

According to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, this list of injuries also includes right tackle La'el Collins also dealing with an ankle/calf injury along with an illness.

This has put the franchise is a tight spot with three of their starter currently dealing with injuries just a couple of weeks from the start of the regular season. Collins has provided much stability to the right side of the offensive line in his first couple of seasons in the league. His absence would create another sizeable hole for the Cowboys to fill that could prove quite difficult this upcoming season.

All of this comes just a few days after Pro Bowl center Travis Frederick was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome after dealing with nagging neck stingers throughout training camp. This has put his status for the season opener up in the air as he works through this latest development with his health. Meanwhile, All-Pro right guard Zack Martin is still recovering from a knee injury that he suffered during preseason action last week against the Cincinnati Bengals. Martin has continued to make progress toward a return to the field, but there is currently no timetable for when he will be available.

On top of that, Pro Bowl left tackle Tyron Smith is dealing with a hamstring injury that flared up over the last couple of days. It is a type of ailment if not handled correctly could linger on. With there still being a couple of weeks until the start of the regular season, it could provide enough for the Cowboys offensive line to be physically ready to give it a go for Week 1 action.
