The Dallas Cowboys will host the San Francisco 49ers for their Wild Card round matchup in the 2022 NFL Playoffs. Ahead of the clash, Cowboys rookie linebacker Micah Parsons was asked about the “bully ball” style of football the 49ers' offense utilizes. Parsons' response couldn't have been better, as the rookie linebacker claimed he would never back down from a challenge, via Michael Gelhken.

Parsons emphatically announced that he's from Harrisburg, PA, “where the bullies get bullied.” And that's exactly how he's planning to approach the Cowboys' playoff opener. The rookie is going to stand up to the “bullies” on the Niners' offense in order to get the job done and help Dallas advance to the Divisional Round. If that means Parsons has to do some bullying of his own, then so be it..

The Cowboys' star isn't afraid to pick some fights in the trenches if that's the way the Niners are trying to handle their business, and Parsons has proven time and time again that he's one of the league's toughest defenders, despite being a rookie.

After being activated from the COVID-19/Reserve list and returning to practice on Wednesday, Parsons was business as usual. When discussing the upcoming matchup with the press, Parsons had his usual level of confidence and swagger. The star rookie recorded 84 tackles in 2021, alongside 13.0 sacks, 30 quarterback hits, 20 tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles across 16 games for the Cowboys.

He'll be taking part in the biggest game of his career on Sunday afternoon, and in the days leading up to the showdown, Parsons already sounds locked in.
