As part of Thursday's media availability, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed these reports, noting that he doesn't think Martin will be available for Week 7:
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy: "I don't see" RG Zack Martin (concussion) participating Sunday at Washington. Connor McGovern in line to make his first NFL start.
Cowboys O-line: LT Cam Erving, LG Connor Williams, rookie C Tyler Biadasz, RG McGovern and rookie RT Terence Steele.

This is unfortunate news for a Cowboys offensive line that has already dealt with its fair share of injuries. Left tackle Brandon Knight recently had knee surgery on Tuesday and will be out for at least a couple of weeks. Joe Looney remains out after suffering a right knee sprain in Week 4 against the Browns, though he is listed as “week-to-week.”
Connor McGovern replaced Martin after his exit against the Arizona Cardinals on Monday. Might we see more of the same?
Article Continues BelowAll those injuries leave the offensive line with Cam Erving at left tackle, Williams at left guard, the rookie Biadasz at center, McGovern at right guard and Terence Steele at right tackle.
Martin, now 29 years of age, is playing in the third season of a six-year, $84 million contract that he signed in 2018. Hopefully, he'll be back on the field sooner rather than later.
The Cowboys, now in second place in the NFC East at 2-4, are set to take on the Washington Football Team this Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET, with FOX having live broadcast coverage. Let's see how Dallas quarterback Andy Dalton performs with mostly reserve players on his offensive line.
