The Dallas Cowboys have some difficult decisions to make during the NFL offseason. The team's receiving corps could look much different with Dez Bryant potentially being released and void needing to be filled.

If the team parts ways with Bryant, Dallas might have an intriguing option to consider. The Denver Broncos may very well part ways with veteran wideout Emmanual Sanders via trade this offseason, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post.

Receiver Emmanuel Sanders will be 31 when the season begins and has two years remaining on the extension he signed in 2016. In 2018 and ’19, he has cap hits of about $10.9 million and $12.9 million, respectively. Last season Sanders missed four games because of an ankle injury and, for reasons of durability and pay, Denver could look to put him on the trading block.

If Sanders is ultimately put on the trading block as Jhabvala suggests, and the veteran wide receiver would prefer to go home to play for America's Team, according to Bobby Belt of SB Nation Radio.

After a Pro Bowl season in 2016, Sanders' production fell off considerably. Sanders went from playing in all 16 games in 2016 racking up 1,032 receiving yards, five touchdowns on 79 receptions to playing in only 12 games this past season in which he caught 47 passes for 555 yards and two touchdowns.

Of course, the quarterback position in Denver was anything but stable. Paxton Lynch, Trevor Siemian, and Brock Osweiler all spent time under center last season with neither of them making much of an impression nor providing any kind of consistency for their wide receivers.

Regardless of a somewhat down year for Sanders in Denver, if he's put on the trading block there could be some interest with Dallas potentially becoming an option.
