At the NFL combine, plenty of players are constantly asked where they would like to play in the NFL. The Denver Broncos found someone in Greg Little who seems he'd be ecstatic to join their team.
According to Zack Kelberman of 247Sports, Little said it would be an “honor” to be drafted by the Broncos. This is due to the Broncos hiring a well-respected offensive line coach in Mike Munchak this offseason.
Here's an excerpt of what Little said when asked what it would mean to receive Munchak's tutelage in the NFL.
“It’d be an honor,” he said. “I respect guys who put their time in the game, and he definitely has. It’s an honor to learn from him, and if I’m blessed to go to the Broncos, I’d be real excited.”
The Broncos are likely to be in need of offensive line help after Jared Veldheer and Matt Paradis are expected to hit free agency. As a result, the Broncos are doing their due diligence on all of the offensive linemen prospects in this draft.
Little is no exception as he is confirmed to have a meeting with the Broncos' brass soon. John Elway said that Munchak will definitely play a part in their process of finding guys they like along the offensive line.
This means Munchak and Little are expected to meet in person and allows Little to make a lasting first impression. Little is a raw prospect who will need to be developed in the NFL to match the speed of the game.
What better guy to do just that than Munchak himself?
If it happens, Little seems to be more than ready to learn from the highly regarded offensive line coach.
