The script could not have been written any better for both the Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Nick Foles in the 2017 NFL season. Not only did they pull off the upset in Super Bowl LII, but the Eagles are in a position to get a massive return for Foles should they choose to go that route.
There is no doubt that quarterback Carson Wentz is their franchise player moving forward. However, according to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk, head coach Doug Pederson says the Eagles will not be so quick to deal Foles without first having a conversation with those involved:

I think you’ve got to have that open communication with them. We’ll see. We’ll see where it goes. [Executive vice president of football operations] Howie [Roseman] just mentioned we’d love to have everybody back, but we know the nature of the business. But, yeah, we’ll talk about it before or if and when that time comes.”
Prior to this season, Foles had been contemplating his future in the NFL before rekindling his love for the game as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. Little was said about his return to Philadelphia up until Wentz suffered a devastating knee injury. Needless to say, it was not long before he was awarded Super Bowl MVP honors.
As a result, Foles has now emerged as one of the biggest potential names on the market. There are a bevy of teams who feel they are just a legitimate quarterback away from playoff contention. That said, there would undoubtedly be some strong offers on the table should he be made available by general manager Howie Roseman.
