Since suffering a broken leg that required surgery, New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has continued on a steady path toward a full recovery. He continues to inch closer to fully participating on the field well ahead of the 2018 campaign.

Beckham Jr. displayed another sign that he's feeling well physically, as he posted a video via social media on Friday morning of himself benching 315 pounds.

There was a spotter who helped him a little bit, but Beckham Jr. displayed a great deal of strength to be able to lift up that much weight. It is an encouraging sign for the Giants that their star wideout has continued to make progress in his recovery.

It shows that Beckham Jr. has a sufficient amount of strength in his legs to physically handle that type of weight. This is no easy feat that requires more than the upper body, which makes this post quite encouraging for his rehab.

Beckham Jr. has posted videos running routes, and it shouldn't be much longer until he participates in all drills. The 25-year-old should once again factor greatly into the equation as the top receiving option for the Giants as he hopes to land a lucrative extension.

With that in mind, it may just be a matter of time before he receives the contract he is hoping to land that may make him highest-paid player at his position. Until then, his increased workload in his workouts is quite promising for what will lie ahead the rest of the offseason.
