It seems as though the man just can't help himself and social media is usually the vehicle.

This time, the Odell Beckham Jr. drama comes at us through the use of Twitter as, on Saturday morning, the electrifying New York Giants wide receiver responded to a fan's question about preseason participation with the clean number of “0.”

Twitter user @stanbryan81 responded to a tweet by @Giantinsider providing momentum to the idea that Beckham Jr. has been pushing the offseason limit in terms of rehabbing from his season-ending surgery and football readiness.

In a classic OBJ being OBJ move, OBJ decided to stir the pot—the exact stuff Dave Gettleman and the New York Giants may not love from their talented offensive weapon.

Never have we seen an OBJ offseason with so much on the line.

First and foremost, Beckham is now entering the final year of his rookie deal. He wants a deal done as soon as possible. The Giants have also acknowledged the contract situation.

At the same time, the franchise has also made sure new boss Dave Gettleman and Pat Shurmur sat down with Beckham Jr. to discuss on and off-the-field behavior—what's expected of the ultra-talented kid moving forward.

Teammate Damon Harrison recently came to the defense of OBJ, claiming he's not the guy everybody makes him out to be. While that happened, Beckham enjoyed the headlines that came with attending NBA All-Star Weekend.

Beckham, 25, has enjoyed a stellar first three seasons in the league (prior to the early season-ending injury suffered this past year). He's thus far compiled 4,424 yards and 38 touchdowns on 313 receptions in just 47 games played. Much of the statistical output has shattered NFL records for a player entering the NFL.

Whether or not Odell Beckham Jr. stays true to his social media promise of “0” preseason games played this coming August, only time will tell.
