Heading into their Week 5 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, the Green Bay Packers are looking to get back on track. After losing in heartbreaking fashion to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, the Packers have another chance to show that they are one of the top contenders in the NFC.

Aaron Rodgers and the offense finally took the leap forward that they have been waiting for last week. Unfortunately, Davante Adams is out this week. That means that Mike Pettine and the defense will need to step up even more this week.

All of that being said, let's dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for the Packers' defense against the Vikings this week.

3. Green Bay Will Hold Ezekiel Elliott To 75 Yards

Many fans and media members are expecting a big game from Cowboys' star running back Ezekiel Elliott. While the Packers have given up some big games to opposing running backs, Pettine will figure things out this week.

Elliott will be held to just 75 yards this week. He is still one of the best running backs in the league, but the Packers are going to make Dak Prescott beat them with his arm. Green Bay has the talent up front to slow Elliott down and it will be their main goal this week.

2. The Packers Sack Dak Prescott Six Times

Green Bay has loved what they have seen from their pass rush so far this season. Brian Gutekunst went out in the offseason and paid big money to bring in Preston and Za'Darius Smith, while also drafting Rashan Gary in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. All three of those guys have made impacts this season.

Prescott is a good quarterback and has even been mentioned as a potential MVP candidate this season. Pettine and company know that they will have to put pressure on him to force mistakes. The Packers will get the job done and will sack Prescott at least six times in this matchup.

1. They Will Force Three Turnovers

Following a 31-point outing for the Eagles last week, many fans are worried that the Packers' defense was too good to be true. Thankfully, that will not end up being the case.

The Packers are going to put pressure on the quarterback and the secondary will make Prescott pay for the mistakes he makes. Green Bay has Jaire Alexander, Adrian Amos, Darnell Savage Jr., and Kevin King (assuming he plays), who are all capable of making plays on the ball. When everything is said and done, the Packers will have forced three turnovers.
