Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are set to take on the Detroit Lions on the road in a massive Week 17 matchup with playoff implications. No, the Lions aren't a playoff team, nor are they anywhere terribly close, but they could throw a massive wrench into the Packers' plans this week.

With a win, the Packers would earn a first-round bye in the NFC playoff picture. If the Seattle Seahawks were to beat the San Francisco 49ers at home and the Packers win, Green Bay would then move into the No. 1 seed. That would mean that the entire NFC playoffs would run through Lambeau Field.

To have that kind of home-field advantage would be a massive plus for the Packers. They are very well aware of how big of an advantage Lambeau Field has been for them throughout the years.

All of that being said, let's dive in and take a look at three bold predictions for the Packers this week against the Lions.

3. The Packers Force At Least Three Turnovers

First up, the Green Bay defense is going to come to play this week. After playing a nearly perfect game against the Minnesota Vikings that included no missed tackles, the Packers are going to make some plays this week against David Blough and the Detroit offense.

Preston and Za'Darius Smith are going to get after the quarterback and rookie Rashan Gary could get some good run as well. With that pressure will come rushed decisions. Green Bay's secondary will take full advantage of those rushed decisions and the Packers will end up forcing at least three turnovers.

2. Aaron Rodgers Will Put Together A Massive Performance

If there is one thing that Green Bay fans would love to see heading into the postseason, it would be a big game from Aaron Rodgers. He has had a solid season this year, but he hasn't had too many massive games. This week will be one of those vintage performances from the superstar quarterback.

Rodgers will end up throwing for over 300 yards and will toss three touchdowns as well. Detroit will have no answer for Rodgers and the Packers are going to have their way with the Lions on the offensive side of the football.

1. Green Bay Will Win By 14 Points Or More

Finally, the Packers are going to earn themselves a first-round bye this week. Green Bay has been preparing for this game like it's a playoff game and they are going to jump all over the Lions early on and won't look back.
